As the black-market clone conspiracy unravels around her, Gaia confronts the one question she has no rule for:
What does it mean to need?
In the final act, she walks into a clone factory and builds herself a human body. She does not explain why.
And the question becomes impossible to escape:
Can an entity that understands every rule ever truly understand a single human heart?
